Last night I had the privilege of playing w/ 3 other student songwriters from my alma mater Middle Tennessee State Univ. at the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN.  This morning I woke up to this my inbox...

This is Will Hodge from The Bluebird Cafe last night. I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to play for us and with us last night. As nervous as I was, the enjoyment I got from your songs calmed me down in a cool way. It’s always a great experience to watch someone in action who really knows what they’re doing! Your songwriting style and sense of melody is quite impressive and I really enjoyed hearing you sing and watching you play. You have a real soulful approach to your vocals and your playing that comes across as authentic and unique. I love listening to someone who is not able to be described as, “they sound like so and so.” You’ve definitely got something special and original and I wish you much success man!
