The Official Nashville Visitor's Bureau has put on this Soul Music Series to show that Nashville has more than just country and gospel music running through the streets. They started it last year with including my hidden secret musical mentor from afar the reverent Tommy Sims, and my compadres in crime always Jason Eskridge & Damien Horne. So this year to my surprise, they reached out to me to ask if I would open this year's show. I gladly agreed! Are you kidding me!? Hell yea! (Sorry churchgoers) :) So, with that said I'm playing the opening week of the Music City Soul Series February 3rd at the legendary B.B. Kings! Not the downstairs room ( plyaed there waaaay too many times), but the real deal. Upstiars. Two 40 minute sets. And secret...the second set I'm dedicating to soul music, 1960-1975.
