New York City: #018 (106 & Park)

THIS JUST IN: I might just be on 106 & Park today. Ok, so the story goes my good friend Mavric (thisismavric.com, he's got a nice mixtape up there for free) is in the freestyle friday battle with obviously another opponent, the current champion.  It was indeed a great battle, I won't spoil it for you but Terrence the VJ hit the floor - that's all I'll say.  Since me and Mavric just did a small track together a couple weeks ago (I sung the hook although my freestyle skills are quite essential to my career) he asked me and couple other pals of his to join the fun.  I of course thought I'd be standing as an on-looker which was perfect -- I get to see the set, see ROXY more importantly, and see how it all works out.  But low and behold not the case, everybody had to be an audience member.  Even a 28-yr.-old piano soul/pop songwriter like myself, maybe they wanted to even out the demo.  So hence today if you see a stunning fellow in a semi-top hat behind 15 other young teenie boppers, that would be me!  And yes Soulja Boy was the invited guest -- UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU -- so apparently I'm going to be "Blowin Kisses" for the next 6 months b/c this new video is going to be everywhere.  Soulja Boy is singing, and quite frankly I have no opinion, only laughter.  It's teenie bop music at it's finest people...off tune, outta focus, and filled with cars, clothes, and girls.  I think I might cover it at my next show...ok maybe not
