DL: Soledad O' Brien

Yesterday I played two hours of mindless music, many songs twice. It was what I call a "2 hour, No claps" gig. But it was cool though. I'll put it on the resume of life. After I got done I was sitting with the promoter who got me the gig and suddenly he said "hey, that's Soledad O' Brien!" I said who!? He said "You know, CNN". I said, "man yea right." I looked and saw the back head of a "mixed looking woman" with a duffle bag. "Man your must be tired because that ain't no dang on Soledad (I used her first name cause that's how I do it). What would she be doing in Nashville, the debate is in California AAAAND ain't nothin going on here except the Nashville Black Film Festival and she's already done her black work for the year (i.e. Black In America)."

Well, the promoter sent me this today. Whammy.
