DL: DL vs. MT vs. TN...

Good sunday afternoon (I'll keep it short). In Memphis. About to head up the street (for an hour) to Jackson, TN for tonight's show. Small but quality crowd at Starbucks in Memphis, met good people. Too bad I was up against only the biggest basketball game in the country last night...#1 ranked memphis against #2 ranked tennessee. WHY!!!? I made the mistake of trying to site see on Beale St. before the show...it was madness. I thought I hadn't been to memphis before but then i pulled in town and rememberedd i HAD been to memphis once. Oddly enough, my then little known friend Melinda Doolittle dragged me with her at 3am to memphis for american idol tryouts. I guess it was sort of a good decision, she only came in third...think she even has a new single out "My Funny Valentine" on Itunes (produced by another friend of mine Akil Thompson...yes you too can hang around famous people...come to nashville, everybodys one.) Before she didn't a website...now she's on freakin Wikipedia, I had WAY more friends than her on myspace...now...well...I'm second.
